UScellular Agrees to Sell Spectrum to AT&T

Following recent deals with T-Mobile and Verizon, US Cellular has now reached an agreement with AT&T to sell a portion of its retained spectrum licenses.

US cellular agreed to sell spectrum to AT&T for approximately $1.018 billion dollars.

  • $232 million allocated to 700 MHz license

  • Contingencies based on the T-Mobile / US cellular sale going through

Two sales and one potential future sale (US Cellular's 4,500 cell towers) are currently pending the approval of US Cellular's sale of operations and select spectrum assets to T-Mobile. That domino is predicted to drop in mid-to-late 2025.
